André
Prochaska began hosting within months of signing on with AOL in 1991.
Over the next 6+ years he volunteered, trained and managed other hosts
and became a partner/provider with AOL.
Outpacing even AOL's frantic growth rate, André's communities maintained
a high level of discourse and earned the reputation of being one
of the best discussion centers on AOL. Ultimate proof of this was
being a Members' Choice area (one of the top 50 areas on AOL), every
quarter AOL ran the program in 1996 and 1997.
After a hiatus to work on his newly acquired old house and enjoy
first time parenthood, he dived back into online community with
Lycos (1999-2001). There he participated in another's online program,
and experienced the full melding of boards, clubs and chat into
one platform.
Currently he's working with Innerworth.com to establish their online
community on the psychology of investing.
