I've been doing a lot of these. I think they are getting "better" in the sense that I have learned to balance the randomness of paint that isn't brushed but splattered with deliberate design: in this one the background is a purple gradient that starts out dark at the edges and ends up almost silvery in the center, covered by a foreground with a gradient starting with a reddish orange in the center, moving toward yellow at the edges. After splattering, I can tip colors into areas of wet paint. When I move the wet cards, gravity becomes part of the process. Maybe possible to use these patterns for divination -- I Ching hexagrams started as cracks in heated tortoise shell.
