Balinese Garuda

Ten years ago, I spent a week in Ubud, Bali. I was so inspired by Balinese painting that I spent a couple days painting this when I got back. I've always been interested in the iconography of Garuda, who is visible in both Buddhist and Hindu traditions, from Nepal to Indonesia. This is one of the postcards available to $5/month (and above) patrons.
