Cherrywood Bowl

I turned this bowl recently. Bowl turning is scary because it is easy to catch the chisel, break the bowl, and send it flying toward my face -- which is why I wear a full-face mask. I finished with a food-safe oil, buffed it up, and plan to use it when I eat cereal. Also: a glimpse of my office-studio-lab. The top shelf on the right is full of the books I used to write, and their translations.
