The wooden cylinder is hand-turned and hollow. The tiny motor is from China -- it took a while; I ordered before Covid. Power supply and terminal blocks from Adafruit. I found the hand, which looks to be made out of some kind of clay, and made the eyeball out of paperclay. I had a scrap of wood, which I painted with acrylics. I had the wood-hand-eye assemblage scanned and 3D printed. Now I have to fit the motor and power cord into the cylinder and attach the short metal shaft of the cylinder to the short metal I fit into the bottom of the 3D printed assemblage. I will post a video when I have it finished. Then it goes in the Pataphysical Time Machine. Time to do a little work-in-progress video tour. Because the studio is an enclosed space, the Pataphysicians don't swarm on Saturdays; we have Zoom cocktail hour on Saturdays.
