Martian Hieroglyphics, Redux

Four years ago, I affixed what I called "heartveillance devices" to a beam holding up the rose bush in my garden, based on what I had called "martian hieroglyphics" when I produced them for the time machine. But I painted them on plywood, which delaminated. So I made some new ones, painted on single pieces of Poplar, this time.
