Officially, Jays House MOO is a "project exploring text based virtual realities." Many people here are serious programmers in ongoing projects such as usability, infostructs, and developing a core database for the MOO. They've also developed their own internal hypertext format called "jtext" for their web page. Don't let the technical jargon put you off, though; the community here is real, and there's a great mix of work and play. You won't find any characters named WyndDansyr or Thorlak, but you will find interesting conversation nonetheless. - T.H.
