The setting for MicroMuse is Cyberion City: a gigantic, cylindrical city in orbit around Earth. A vision for the 24th century, MicroMUSE, based at MIT's Artificial Intelligence Lab, features interactive exhibits and puzzles with an engaging mix of social, cultural, recreational, and educational content. As a visitor, you can't access some of the more interesting projects, like watching Star Trek at the MicroTheater or using the Soil Nutrient Analyzer in the Rainforest. But the guided tour will show you some of the highlights of MicroMUSE, including the Science Center, the MicroTheater, Poetry Gallery, and Women's Resource Center. Don't be surprised when you find the Oz adventure created by an 8-year-old, as residents of all ages are encouraged to participate and contribute to the MOO. - T.H.
